Alice C. Honeysette, 90

Alice C. Honeysette, 90, of Alanson, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the Tendercare Nursing Center in Cheboygan.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Alanson Church of the Nazarene. Pastor David Brantley will officiate assisted by the Rev. Leroy Sutfin. Visitation will be hled at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Littlefield Township Cemetery in Alanson.

Alice was born in Van, Mich., on June 11, 1917. She was the daughter of William and Martha (Manley) Stoneburner. She grew up in the Pellston area and graduated from Pellston High School in 1935.

On Oct. 19, 1935, she married Albert Honeysette in Oden. The couple made their home in Alanson. Albert preceded her in death in 1988. She continued to make her home in Alanson, later moving to Petoskey.

She enjoyed baking, bingo and spoiling her family.

Alice is survived by her children, Floyd (Shirley) Honeysette of Dunnellon, Flo., Avis Crff of Lisbon, Conn., Wilma Ness of Indian River; son-in-law, Robert Ladd of Alanson; 14 grandchildren; sister, Marie Jessup of Edmore, Mich.; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children, Iris Honeysette and Judy Ladd; grandson, John Croff; and her brothers, Hiriam, William, Ernest, James, Kenneth and Keith Stoneburner.

Lintz Funeral Home in Indian River handled arrangements for the family.
