On Thursday evening of last week the "Atequa Swarm" [of the Bee Hive girls] went on a hike to the "Lone Pine" farm in the mountains east of Fillmore, where they enjoyed a camp fire supper, a shower bath and a sleepless night's rest, followed by a hurried breakfast and a bouncing trip to town. Mrs. Jennie Ashby is the keeper of this swarm, Rose Davies her assistant and the members are Myrtle Brunson, Ruby Day, Florence Lyman, Fern Ashby, Fauntella Davies, Hazel Stott, Jane McBride and Margie Warner.
