Old Resident Dies Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Sobleski, 88 years old, who died Friday evening at her home in Bear Creek township following a weeks illness, will be conducted at St. Francis Church Tuesday at 9 a.m.
Burial is to be in St. Francis Cemetery.
Mrs. Sobleski was born in Poland March 15, 1857 and settled in Bear Creek township 65 years ago where she had made her home since that time.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Fettig, Mrs. John Koboski and Mrs. Frank Foster, two sons, John and Benjamin, all of Petoskey, two brothers, Theodore Kruzel of Petoskey and Martin Kruzel of Cleveland, Oh., 46 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sobleski was a member of the St. Francis church and Altar society.
The body may be viewed at Peters Funeral Home.
