Fillmore, UT-Luana R. Cluff, 85, of Fillmore, UT passed away January 21, 2015 at the Fillmore Hospital. Born July 9, 1929, in Meadow, UT to Ancil Platt Robison & Sarah Eva Stott. Married Verne Bert Cluff September 21, 1947 in Ely, NV.

Survived by her Husband, Verne Cluff, Fillmore; Sons, Brent (Kathy) Cluff of Roosevelt, UT; Brad Cluff, Fillmore; Gayle (Opal) Cluff, Fillmore; & Jason (Vicki) Cluff, Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren & 43 great grandchildren; Brothers, Allison, Reed and Sisters, Beth, Ella, Reva, and Sherma and families.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Thorpe and Rachel Robison, brother-in-law, Fred Cahoon, brother in law, Jim Neilson and great grandson Justice Brunson Cluff.

Luana R. Cluff, Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Wife, Aunt and Friend peacefully passed away at the age of 85 on January 21, 2015 and was surrounded by family and Husband. Eva Luana Robison was born on July 9, 1929, in Meadow, Utah, and was the daughter of Ancil Platt Robison and Sarah Eva Stott. Raised and resided in Fillmore. Eloped and Married Verne Bert Cluff, love of her life, in Ely, Nevada – September 21, 1947.

Luana was friendly, graceful and a beautiful lady. Active in the community and the church as a primary teacher, Legion Auxiliary, P.T.A., Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Red Hat Society and “her girls”, social ladies bridge club.

Luana enjoyed the Pahvant Mountains where she could watch the seasons go by, and also was a very serious fisherman casting her line and bobber in many lakes. Loved walking, traveling the World, swimming and had swam over 500 miles at the pool, and was an avid Jazz fan.

Together with hard work and courage, Verne and her owned, Chalk Creek Trailer Park, Cluffs Service Station, Cluffs Drive Inn, and later retired from Fillmore Middle School’s Lunchroom.

She is survived by her husband, Verne Cluff and her sons Brent (Kathy) Cluff of Roosevelt, UT; Brad Cluff of Fillmore; Gayle (Opal) Cluff of Fillmore; and Jason (Vicki) Cluff of Salt Lake City. Loved by her 17 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Brothers, Allison, Reed and Sisters, Beth, Ella, Reva, and Sherma and families. Preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Thorpe and Rachel Robison, brother-in-law, Fred Cahoon, brother in law, Jim Neilson and great grandson Justice Brunson Cluff.

The family would like to give a great “Thank You” to the kind care at the Fillmore Community Hospital and Hospice. Along with her long-time friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Her Life, will be held at Fillmore 1st Ward on Monday January 26th at 12:00. The Viewing will at 10:30 to 11:30, followed by Family Prayer. Interment is at Fillmore City Cemetery following service.
