Biography
George Boothe was born March 13, 1914 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio to James William Boothe and Anna Louise Rippel.
George had two brothers: Paul James and Lonnie Boothe.
He also had two half-sisters: Dorothy Fern Kelly Mastin and Pearl Boothe Sams.
After their father died their mother took him and his brothers to live at Union Bethel where the boys were put under guardianship of Dr. and Mrs. Ray G. (Ruby) DeVoist who were the Physician and Social Worker at Cincinnati Union Bethel Settlement House.
George attended a camp for boys and girls called Kroger Hills which "Mom" Kennedy ran. Lonny became a camp counselor over Physical Fitness activities. Lonny was very active in sports especially swimming and horsemanship and later in Bowling.
George Married Patricia Lou Miller and they had three children, Penelope Ann, Eric and Donald Boothe.
George enlisted in the US Army on June 8, 1942.
George died August 18, 1984 in Indianapolis, Indiana and is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery.
