Ingeborg Caroline Arnold Robison

Ingeborg Caroline Arnold Robison passed away at her home on March 8, 2009 at the age of 89. She was born in Aschaffenburg, Germany, July 8, 1919 to Ludwig August Martin Arnold and Clara Louise Meyer Arnold. As a young woman, she served during World War II in the German Red Cross.

At the end of that war, she met and married Rolf Archie Robison. They moved to Utah, and were sealed a short time later in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a loving wife and a devoted mother to seven children. She has 25 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.

Inge was a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Primary Teacher, a Librarian, a Greeter and a faithful visiting teacher.

Inge worked at the Missionary Training Center for BYU Food Services for 10 years. In her spare time, Inge loved to knit and read. She loved nature, and enjoyed hiking and camping. She also enjoyed BYU Football and was an avid fan. She attended each home game until her mid 80's and then watched them faithfully on TV.

She was a woman of great wisdom, but few words. She was a wonderful example of patience and optimism. She had a quiet disposition, and was always pleasant and kind to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rolf, two brothers-in-law (Clarence F. Robison and Floyd Bradfield), her brother, Helmut Arnold, and her son, David.

She is survived by six of her children; Laurel (Mark) Howard, Roland (Shannon) Robison, Richard (Lisa) Robison, R. Lynn (Kathy) Robison, Rose Marie Robison, and Caroline Robison; two sisters-in-law Jene Bradfield and Monita Robison; one sister, Helga Siebert.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Gentiva Home Health Care and Vista Care Hospice for their kind service during the last few months of her life.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grandview 13th Ward chapel, 1260 W. 1150 N., Provo. Friends may call from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to [email protected]
