Joseph Kruzel, aged Cross Village farmer, died Sunday evening at the farm home of his son, George Kruzel, near that place. Mr. Kruzel was seventy-four years old and had resided near Cross Village for thirty-three years. Before moving there he resided in Petoskey and for three years was employed by the late H. O. Rose. He was widely known all over the county and well liked by all who knew him. He was born in Germany and came to America thirty-six years ago.

He leaves five sons: Stephen, of Indiana; George, Frank, Cashmir and Andrew Kruzel, of Cross Village; five brothers, Fabian Kruzel, of Petoskey; Stephen and Theodore Kruzel, of Bear Creek, and John and Martin Kruzel of Cleveland, and one sister, Mrs. Kate Sobloski, of Bear Creek.

The funeral will be from Holy Cross church at Cross Village at 8 o’clock Tuesday forenoon. Burial at Cross Village.
