A memorial service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Northport on Friday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m., for Thelma Bahle Hagen of Northport who died May 22 at Tendercare of Leelanau. She was 92.

She was born April 30, 1917 in Ludington, the daughter of Captain Esten and Laura (Gronseth) Bahle.

On Oct. 10, 1937, in Suttons Bay, she married Issac “Ike” Hagen, who survives.

She was a homemaker and, later in life, was employed at Best Tackle in Northport.

She enjoyed playing the piano and flute, cooking and sewing. She was a 4H leader at the Northport School. She was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church and participated in the women’s Bible Study group and Vacation Bible School.

She is also survived by her daughters, Realpha H. Kutilek, Lita H. Goess and Carine Hagen; four grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gordon, Orville, Lester, and Kenneth Bahle; a sister, Realpha B. Clausen; and a grandhchild in 1967.

Burial was to be in Leelanau Township Cemetery.

The family is being served by the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay.
